Press Release 16.03.12

Website now live!

Jill & Jasmine have had a busy start to 2012 and are now full steam ahead with their Social Enterprise Company (Essential Social Enterprises Community Interest Company) and excited to announce the launch of the Essential Care4Children division & website!

Essential Care4Children was started in 2011 and its vision is to provide a diverse and inclusive range of high quality and affordable childcare services which are accessible to all parents. They also offer specialised childcare services for parents of children and young people with disabilities, which include play schemes, before & after school care, holiday clubs and overnight and respite care.  All their childcare services are staffed by caring, professionally trained staff and volunteers who are highly skilled with a wealth of experience in working with children with disabilities.

Their training company division (Essential Care Training) empowers and engages young people and parents with the opportunity to train and retrain in Health & Social Care and the Childcare Sector and gain employment.  Their childcare support services afford them this opportunity whilst their childcare needs are met.  Their clubs provide children and young people with opportunities to have fun, socialise and gain new skills in a safe environment.

Volunteers play a big part in the organisation; there are opportunities for volunteers to gain essential employment experience whilst working in one of their settings, whilst also having the opportunity to be part of the ongoing specialised training they provide.

They also offer exciting inclusive activity clubs for older children and young people aged 8 -16.  They hold holiday taster sessions & the young people play a huge part in the decision process on what activities they prefer to be provided within the clubs.

All their childcare support services are purposefully assessed to support parents in areas which are in most need.  Areas of social deprivation, rural areas and especially areas where there is a high density of children and extra services are required to meet the childcare demand.

Essential Care4Children warmly welcome any suggestions from parents, local authorities and charitable organizations, where their services can be developed within the community.

Their mission statement is to make a difference one community a time.
